  • quartly update :-)

    Okay so I realize that I am like never on here anymore and I realize I always say that I am going to do better instead I just thought I would share an update and maybe a couple of pics of the kiddos costumes

    1st though can you believe that my baby just turned 1 yesterday.  Its hard to believe he is already 1.  We had a great time celebrating yesterday with his BFF and girlfriend coming over for cake & ice cream.  they too are celebrating their 1st birthdays too. 

    Elijah's 1 year appt is this afternoon so no stats yet but he is much smaller than the other two boys were at this point I think.  He is all over the place but still no walking and thats okay by me.  He is standing more by himself and I am sure will be walking soon so why rush it  

    I will leave you all with a pic of my 3 blind mice!

  • So I really would like to be on here more but with 3 kiddos and all the other business of life this has just been put on the back burner, and with the growing difficulty of posting pictures I have been a slacker. 

    I am also now babysitting my friends 2 month old little girl, and I must say it is lots of fun having a little extra pink around here   but it definitely keeps me busy.  I have her about 15 hours a week now and I had my first outing with 4 kiddos yesterday to watch A play soccer.  It went great baby slept the whole time and the other two were great. 

    Asher has started soccer and loves playing he is a little timid when comes to doing something new but seems to be very interested in learning.  We are officially doing preschool with him now doing reading, writing, and counting as he doesn't seem interested in numbers at all (don't know where he gets this certainly not from his accountant parents ) 

    Judah continues to have a great love for the babies here talking to Ansley and to Elijah.  He loves babies!  He also loves Asher and for now does whatever asher wants him to do haha.  I am sure this will change soon.  He could sit in a corner and play for hours with any little figurines and some blocks and loves to color.

    Elijah is our little monkey and I mean little   He is going on 11 mos and can still fit into some 3-6 mos clothes by far our littlest monkey.  He is everywhere cruising on everything, waving byebye, and says hello, mama, dada, byebye, and uh oh.  and has a head full of blond hair that we are not sure where it came from  

    Hope this kind of brings you up to date on us a little and I will try not to be such a stranger on here.

  • Wow its been awhile.  I guess I haven't had much to blog about or time to do it   Everyone here is doing well and growing like weeds of course. 

    Asher has just started playing soccer and had a great time.  He has practice once a week for 8 wks with 4 yr olds.  this is great for him to be independent and run off some of his pent up energy too.  he was a little stand-offish at first but warmed up quickly.  Judah, Elijah and I watched as its only an hour long, and J just couldn't understand why Asher wasn't kicking the soccer ball the whole time. 

    Elijah is officially walking behind toys and pushing them all over I am sure it won't be long before he is walking YIKES!  He is such a happy baby smiling all the time and says mama, dada, and just learned uh-oh.

    Judah is potty trained all the way.  We bit the bullet and took away diapers completly and put them in the basement and said goodbye to them.  He has done great and house a few random accidents, and getting him up before we go to bed to use the potty makes for a really cute little drowsy boy

    This summer has gone by fast and has been full of fun times.  Hope your all having a great weekend!

  • Got lots of cleaning done today.  I mopped the kitchen and bathroom and folded 4 loads of laundry and general pick up.  I am also attempting to type this on the laptop while the baby tries to close it lol

    Speaking of baby he officially pulled himself up to the couch today which was very exciting and I am sure he'll be busy trying to figure out how to walk soon enough to keep up with those crazy boys.  The mirror is getting put up in our bathroom tonight so i will finally be able to see to puton some makeup up here, and the tile guy was here to finish the tile border this morning.  We still have alot of little things like filling in all the gaps/holes in the baseboard and window trim which is next on my list. 

    Okay I know this was kind of all over the place but I am typing and distracted by just a couple of boys   Hope you all have a great weekend!

  • Hey I have some exciting news to share with everyone (and no I am not preggo ) We are officially using our new bedroom upstairs!  It has been almost a year since we moved into the house and we are now in the upstairs bedroom.  There are still a few things to be done but I am excited with the way it turned out.

    We did move our bed up last night which didn't go quite as planned.  The boys (our nephew is staying with us)  moved up the mattress first and then the box springs, and after many attempts the box spring would not go up the stairs.  SO we are sleeping on just the mattress but it doesn't bother me other than our alarm clock sits on the bottom shelf of our night stand.  So we may be looking at getting a king size bed to put up here eventually. 

    The kids keep coming up to play and our mattress is the pirate ship and Eli loves crawling on the carpet.  There is still lots of empty space up here which I love!  Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.
